Our wedding pictures came in the mail today. I can't wait to get some of these printed and hung. Here are a bunch of my favorites. Any votes on ones I should print?

The Home Office
I'm happy about how the therapy office is coming together. I have my first client coming tonight, and I am so excited but so terrified at the same time. I'm not sure if that's a function of not seeing clients for a month, or because I'm a little more on my own now. Probably the second one. I was feeling so competent working under someone else's umbrella for the past year and a half. And I guess technically, I'm still not completely alone--I have a supervisor and I will be in either group or individual supervision for about 8 hours every month--so I'm not alone. However, this is my business. My name. My reputation. The ever-present pressure of desperately hoping I can help the person who walks in to see me, on top of this new pressure of keeping them coming back, satisfying them and helping them reach their goals so they will speak highly of me to their friends--it's a lot. That's all.
But, I can do it. Right? I love therapy. I love meeting people, helping people, being with them in the room to see the insights and the fights and the contemplation and the change. I love every aspect of what therapy is. I just hope I can remember that over the roar of my nervous pulse.
What a wonderful thing that my dream job starts today.

Louisville is for Lovers
I have so many things I could blog about. (Not because my life has been overly eventful the past few weeks, but because I stopped blogging. Ha.) We love our new place (pics to come) and the wedding was fabulous (pics to come). But for now, a nice post about fun Louisville and some of my favorite things so far:
1. We went to a Mumford and Sons concert a few days after we got here. The concert was at the Great Lawn, which is right along the river. Our good friend James came with us. The concert was a graduation gift from Chad. He knows what I like! We had a great time.
2. We are enjoying having a backyard, and also owning some cool camping accessories (thanks, Grandma Davis!). Camping in your backyard is convenient (and sometimes more comfortable than sleeping in a room sans air-conditioning, in Kentucky, in August. Actually, we have air-conditioning, we just don't always like turning it on at night.). What a blast!
3. It's fun having a house to do stuff to. It's also fun having a husband who teaches you how to use power tools.
Stay tuned for: wedding, Florida trip, visit to Taylor & Jenny in Nashville, the house, and my thriving therapy business (that last one is a bit of a stretch, but I'm staying positive!). . .

Triathlon Goals 2012
Coming up with goals for the triathlon this year is a little tricky, a) because I haven't been training very much, and b) because I'm doing a sprint this year, which is shorter than the olympic distance I've done the last two years.
Here are my past times:
Here are my past times:
Year 1 Swim: 26:39
Year 2 Swim: 44:25
Year 3 Swim: 40:39
Year 1 Bike:
1:00:43
Year 2 Bike:
1:43:20
Year 3 Bike:
1:24
Year 1 Run: 29:37
(that's a 9:33 mile)
Year 2 Run:
1:16:41 (12:22 mile)
Year 3 Run: 1:00:17
I think I would be pretty happy to manage half of last year's olympic time, since that was my best time and I had trained a lot. I should be able to keep a quicker pace since it's a shorter race.
So, my goal: swim in 20:20, bike in 53:10; run in 30:08.

My Business
Well, the most exciting stuff has been getting married and making our home beautiful, but more on that later.
Today I set up the website for my therapy business in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm linking it on this blog in order to eventually get it to appear on a google search (I'm not exactly sure how long this will take). If you are my friend and you also have a blog, I would LOVE for you to link it on your blog. In fact, I would owe you big time.
You can also help me out by posting the link to facebook or other social media.
Thanks in advance. :)
