About Us

I'm so glad you are here! Welcome to my little dot on the map of BlogWorld.

My name is Cammie, and I grew up in a medium-sized city in western Colorado (read: desert, mild winters, but with close proximity to the beautiful Colorado you've seen in pictures.) College took me to Utah (Brigham Young University), an LDS mission took me to Puerto Rico, Aruba, and Curacao for 18 months, research and study abroad programs took me back to Aruba and also to Mexico (6 weeks each), graduate school took me to Auburn, Alabama, and true love brought me to Louisville, Kentucky. (Dawww.)

I met Chad as I started my second year of grad school and just before he started his first year of dental school. It was really amazing how the stars aligned for us to meet at that time--you can read about how we met here. We dated long-distance and made lots of trips back and forth between Kentucky and Alabama. On July 28th, 2012, we were married for time and eternity in the Manti, Utah LDS temple. I am so happy for that day and the leap we took into married life.

On this blog, you will find thoughts on daily life, my work as a marriage and family therapist, and my faith, as well as occasional recipes, book reviews, and other tidbits. I hope you'll stick around and feel free to connect with me at cambellsoup [at] gmail [dot] com. Thanks for stopping by!
